There is an additional system for data entry into our Layers, Breeders and Growers software. It allows users to capture data from the production units on the farm or farms and enter it into a pocket-sized, handheld computer. Then, at the end of the day, the handheld computer can be taken to the office and connected to the computer running the main Flockdata software. The connection can be made via a serial, USB or infrared port. All records will subsequently be uploaded to the main Flockdata database.

This method of data capture removes the need to transport pieces of paper from the production units to the office and the need for the Flockdata operator to retrieve the information from the bits of paper and enter them into the main Flockdata system. This can save the operator a lot of time if entering data for several flocks.

The handheld module, along with all other Flockdata products, can be purchased directly through this web site. Payments for purchases can be made safely using credit cards.
